Japanese Incense

Japanese incense is an amazing art itself that belongs to the ancient tradition in Japan. The people who make incense are called Incense Blenders and they serve long time of training and learning by working alongside a Master Incense Blender. Japanese incense  contains various natural ingredients chosen carefully either for their scent or properties in Traditional Medicine. They are wood powders, plants, spices and essential oils which are mixed with other plant gels and then kneaded into flat tablets which are dried, cut into sticks and packaged. Most of the ingredients come from India and South-East Asia. The most important ingredients for the Japanese incense are: Agarwood (Aquilaria agallocha), Sandalwood (Santalum album), Japanese Juda Tree (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) the three precious woods which are always present in high quality Japanese incense. Other important ingredients are : Cinnamon, Cassia, Myrrh, Star Anise, Clove, Licorice, Patchouli, Benzoin, Borneo Camphor, Rhubarb, Nardostachys Jatamansi, Eucalyptus, Hibiscus abelmoschus seeds, Carduus nutans, Mimulus abelmoschus flowers, Magnolia, Peony, Sweet Pine and Cypress. Ιαπωνικά Αρωματικά Sticks

Το Ιαπωνικό θυμίαμα είναι από μόνη της μια εκπληκτική τεχνη, που ανήκει στην αρχαία παράδοση της Ιαπωνίας. Αυτοί που φτιάχνουν τα θυμιάματα ονομάζονται Παρασκευαστές Θυμιαμάτων και ακολουθούν πολύ καιρό εκπαιδευσης δουλεύοντας κοντά σε Δάσκαλο Παρασκευαστή Θυμιάματος. Το Ιαπωνικό θυμίαμα περιέχει ποικιλία από φυσικά συστατικά πολύ προσεχτικά επιλεγμένα τόσο για το άρωμα τους όσο και για τις ευεργετικές τους ιδιότητες στην παραδοσιακή ιατρική. Τα συστατικά αυτά μπορεί να είναι σκόνες από ξύλα, φυτά, μπαχαρικά και αιθέρια έλαια. Όλα αυτά αναμειγνυόνται με φυτικές ουσίες, ζυμώνονται σε επίπεδες επιφάνειες και μετά αφήνονται να στεγνώσουν. Η τελική συνέχεια είναι να κοπούν σε στικς και να συσκευαστούν. Τα περισσότερα από τα συστατικά αυτά προέρχονται από την Ινδία και την Νότιο-Ανατολική Ασία. Τα πιό σημαντικά συστατικά είναι: Agarwood (Aquilaria agallocha), Σανδαλόξυλο (Santalum album), το Ιαπωνικό Juda Tree  (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) τα τρία πολύτιμα ξύλα που είναι σχεδόν πάντα παρόν στα υψηλής ποιότητας θυμιάματα. Aλλα συστατικά είναι: Κανέλα, Κάσια, Μύρο, Star Anise, Γαρύφαλλο, Γλυκόριζα, Πατσουλί, Βενζόη, Κάμφορα της Βόρνεο, Rhubarb, Νάρδος, Ευκάλυπτος, Ιβίσκος, Carduus nutans, Mimulus abelmoschus flowers, Μανώλια, Παιώνια, Πεύκο και Κυπαρίσσι. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι ένα λεπτό, υπέροχο άρωμα υψηλής ποιότητας!
